A day after unveiling the first official trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Warner Bros. has decided to unleash two new TV spots for the upcoming follow-up. The 60-second previews aired last night on TV and feature several familiar faces from the franchise: including Ian McKellen, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, and newcomers like Martin Freeman and Evangeline Lilly. The Desolation of Smaug hits theaters on December 13th.
