The moment every Apple junkie and techspert has anticipated for the past year has arrived. Ladies and Gents: the iPhone 5 is here. The Cupertino Clan made the next-gen smartphone official during it’s special announcement event at the Yerba Buena Center, with Phil Schiller coming on stage to break down the handset’s spec sheet. Besides being entirely constructed from glass and aluminum, this is what we’re looking at:

– 4-inch Retina Display (326 (PPI)
– LTE Support
– 8MP camera with Panorama View & FaceTime HD camera
– A6 processor
– Improved speaker design with Wideband audio
– New Lighting connnector
– New Siri functionality including Facebook posting
– Price Points ($199 $299, $399), pre-order date of Sept. 14 and shipping date (Sept. 21)
