Instagram put selfies on the digital map for us, and as you’ve witnessed, it’s become the most popular form of photography over the past two years. Now with the photo-sharing service stepping up its game with the introduction of Hyperlapse—an app designed for time-lapsed videos—we’re able to add another layer to this experience. The latest update now allows us to shoot these same videos using our front-facing cameras…on the iPhone that is. Users will notice a small button next to the shutter, which switches the camera view from front to rear, along with a “selfielapse” mode. Finished videos are put through the app’s stabilization process to smooth out the final product. Feel free to indulge.
