Honda Acura NSX (Production Model)
The most anticipated concept car of the past year is finally getting the production treatment. And yes, we’ll get an eyes-on with it at this year’s show. Reports say the vehicle will “remain aesthetically identical” to the mock-up and stick to its 2014/2015 launch window. Pretty crazy when considering the manufacturer revealed the hybrid would be in production for at least three years. We’re not complaining, not one bit. Powertrain specs remain unknown, though all expectations lead to the NSX having a direct-injected V6 paired with the company’s sport all-wheel drive system.
Volkswagen’s SUV Concept
The German automaker confirmed the appearance of its seven-seater prototype, which is set to rival other popular SUV models in the market: including the Ford Edge, Chevy Equinox, and Toyota Highlander. Though details remain sketchy at the moment, experts say to expect front- or all-wheel drive, optional third-row seating, and gas or diesel power—with a 2014 launch date.
