Douchiest moment: Tried forcing co-partner Paul Allen out of company during his recovery from cancer.
High school friend and Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen, has described Bill Gates as one of those kids who always “wanted to show you how smart he was.” In Allen’s memoir, he explains that Gates tried to “force his founding partner (Allen) out of the firm and to cut his share in the company as he was recovering from cancer.” Allen actually FOUND Gates and current Microsoft boss Steve Ballmer discussing ways of reducing his stake in the company after recovering from Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Who knew the biggest philanthropist in the world could stoop to such depths of douchery.
