Ironic in nature, Sunset Overdrive’s first DLC dubbed The Mystery Of Mooil Rig launches today. This is ironic because as explosive and vibrant as Sunset Overdrive is, Insomniac Games’ announcement of this release was not. The studio said 2 weeks ago that this would arrive today but since then has said nothing on the DLC nor really provided any hype for the said DLC. Oh well.
If you have Sunset Overdrive and its season pass, be sure to pick up Mooil Rig and play through the new story and Chaos Squad levels.
Along with this new DLC comes 250 more achievement points for the game. If you are an achievement hunter like myself, its good to note that 10 out of the 12 new DLC achievements are secret achievements (which means they are story based) and the other 2 are just for Chaos Squad; So no collectibles this time around.
