In short, this “hand-held video game platform emulation” patent will allow Nintendo to recreate our beloved Game Boy console on the screens of our phones. The term ‘emulation’ means that our screens will display an image of the original console’s physical hardware, rather than a new presentation of familiar games. Can you say #TBT?
