According to a 102-page report created by the security firm Accuvant, Google Chrome is the most secure web browser in terms of offering protection against online attacks and security breaches. Mircosoft’s IE came in second, while the open-source Firefox browser followed in last place. It’s also worth nothing the report was comissioned by Google. “Both Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer implement state-of-the-art anti-exploitation technologies, but Mozilla Firefox lags behind without JIT hardening,” Accuvant explained in its study.
