Earlier this year, Sony announced that it was going to release the “Ultimate Played Edition” PS4 model that came with a 1 TB harddrive. Well that model never came out in the US but we now think we know why.
The internet has gone out and found details about a new PS4 model coming to the US to celebrate their newly formed partnership with the Call of Duty franchise. The new bundle, which is reportedly going to sell for around $450, will come with Call of Duty: Black Ops III and feature a 1 TB harddrive with the all the new features the Ultimate Edition PS4 had in Europe.
To be fair, the only real changes are a more efficient power use system.
But good news nonetheless!
The bundle might also come with a new Call of Duty themed Dualshock controller which will be a step up from the very limited number of specialty controllers they have. Controller modifications seems to be the Xbox thing to do.
