With Zack Snyder directing and Christopher Nolan producing, the Superman reboot looks to be the most compelling (and promising) comic book movie of 2013. This time around, the origin story is retold as Clark Kent faces his fellow Kryptonia, General Zod, a move that should have fans of the Christopher Reeves’ films and Smallville TV series feeling a bit nostalgic. Henry Cavill dons the blue and red spandex with Amy Adams dressing up as Lois Lane.

The talent requested it and fanboys yearned for it. Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) is back, along with the rest of the KVWN-TV crew: including Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell). No trailers, no synopsis, no sweat. Just the sequel being put into production has us wanting to break through the glass case of emotion.
