Microsoft appears to be blessing a select number of gamers with a free copy of Killer Instinct for the next-gen console at launch. Several recipients received an email stating they would get a version of the game that features all characters unlocked. The email reads as follows: “You’re a fan of ours and we’re a fan of yours. Thank you for your dedication to Xbox. We want to show you our appreciation, so we’re giving you Killer Instinct.”
Microsoft went on to confirm the announcement through its Xbox Support Twitter account, with its tweet reading as follows: “We’ve selected a bunch of our Xbox fans for their support and as a celebration for the upcoming Xbox One.” Might want to go through your inbox and see if you’re one of the lucky winners.
