It’s been a minute since we’ve a new George Lucas film that wasn’t a Star Wars Redux or horrible franchise sequel (ughh…Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). But we have to say his film company’s latest project, Red Tails, looks great. The film is based on the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American pilots to fly in a combat squad during WWII, and will be directed by first-time helmer Anthony Hemingway. The star-studded cast includes Terrence Howard, Bryan Cranston, Cuba Gooding Jr, Ne-Yo, Method Man, and many others. Red Taila is set to be released on Jan. 20, 2012. Let us know what you think.
