It’s been rumored for a minute, but all interest in Motorola’s rumored Nexus smartphone was lost the moment Apple and Samsung started showcasing their flagship devices. Well, with the mobile hardware legend gaining tons of momentum right thanks to its Moto 360 smartwatch and next-gen version of the Moto X, the company looks to have one final surprise heading into the holidays with what looks to be its Nexus 6 handset. Or as some industry experts are speculating, the Nexus X.

9to5Google got the exclusive on the Android powerhouse and shared a leaked image of the device, which looks to come in phablet form—sporting a 5.92-inch diagonal form factor. A report from last month suggested specs on the handset would look as follows: 5.2-inch (1440p) display, 2.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of memory, 12MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and Android L. That might not be the case as the website believes we’ll see the Nexus X sport a 5.92-inch screen with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440), 13MP rear shooter, and 3,200 mAh battery. Memory, processor, and RAM stand the same.

Motorola hasn’t confirmed anything, though we believe an announcement should be on the horizon come October.
