As a fitness gadget, the heart rate monitor alone puts it well above what most other wearables are offering…Wearables are still a bit of a difficult subject. While they are still yet to enrich our lives like the smartphone has, they remain massively cool gadgets. The Gear Fit sits right at the top of the cool pile, delivering just enough functionality to justify its purchase. Decent battery life, a quality screen and some fitness functions that are actually useful, complete the package. Clearly, there is still a long way to go, but this is the first piece of wearable tech we can can see staying strapped to our wrists.
