Best Indie Games of Pax East 2013 Tengami

Platform: iOS
Taking design cues from Capcom’s classic 2D adventurer, Okami, this independent mobile title features a beautifully paper-crafted 3D popup world, with artwork inspired by the Japanese style of art. The object of Tengami is quite simple: solve puzzles and discover hidden secrets. Sounds easier said than done. Remember that.

Organ Trail: Director’s Cut

Platform: Android and iOS
Taking it back to the retro days of gaming, this Director’s Cut of the zombie-filled spoof of The Orgeon Trail, the classical education game, has you and four friends surviving an undead holocaust. If a partner gets bitten, it’s your job to take’em out. The game allows players to manage food and ammo, which are extremely essential to one’s progression, plus there’s an Endless Mode that lets you play until reaching death.
