Honda EV-STER Concept Production

Weeks after appearing at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, Honda plans on putting its stunning EV-STER concept car into production. CEO Takanubo Ito confirmed the decision with German publication Auto Motor Sport , while vaguely hinting at a possible petrol-powered version, too. The EV-STER packages a 10kWh lithium-ion battery drivetrain and electric motor, pushing the vehicle from 0 to 62 mph in 5 seconds and peaking at 100 mph. We didn’t expect anything more from Honda than just a prototype, but hey, if they’re game, we’d be more than thrilled to test drive the EV-STER in the near future. Would you?
