Those familiar with Sony’s online-only Warhawk title might find serenity with its upcoming third-person successor: Starhawk. SCE Santa Monica Studio is hard at work perfecting the action title for its to-be-announced 2012 release window. But if you’ve read up on the game or caught any previews on YouTube, you already know it’s one of the PS3’s more promising games of the new year. Straight run-and-gun action combined with RTS elements such as building structures in the form of bunkers and armories during a battle in real-time…it’s absolutely insane. While Sony continues to tease the title, the company is allowing a select few to partake in the game’s public online beta. And we’re giving 10 gamers the opportunity to win access and participate in the online mayhem.
