Looks like Japan’s been good to Santa this year to receive such holiday treats. Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XIII will be released in Japan on December 17 for ¥8800 (¥9240 with tax). That’s pretty much the equivalent of about $100 here in the states. Talk about ridiculously expensive. As usual, we here in the states won’t receive it till the Spring, or at least that’s what Square Enix claims. To add more insult to injury, Japan will also receive a PS3 FFXIII bundle, slim of course.
