Square Enix has certainly given fans one of the biggest surprises of this year’s E3 conferences by far with the reveal of their HD remake of one of their greatest and most well known titles Final Fantasy VII. While fans of the series and especially this game rejoiced Square Enix did make it clear that the game would differ slightly from the original version’s story line, and while fans are a bit upset they are none the less excited for it. In an interview Tetsuya Nomura explained why these changes are being made “You’ll have this extremely, very, very pretty FFVII existing on the same plane, We feel that if that happens, it’s like, why have the same exact game?”
By stating this Nomura has confirmed the game will be a new experience from the classic of 1997, but the question still remains is what is it that they will change? Fans have some speculations but for right now all we can do is watch and wait to see this amazing new experience be released and watch the new generation enjoy a game that still stands the test of time.
