Fallout 4 Officially Confirmed

Jager Robinson June 4, 2015 0

Obviously this has been serious news the past full day but it is worth saying again, Fallout 4, yes that Fallout 4, has been officially confirmed.

More information will release around E3 2015, but until then, here is what we know:

Todd Howard is directing the game. He worked on Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim as well as Fallout 3. We are pretty damn confident in Howard’s job to deliver the perfect experience for the Fallout universe.

You will probably have a dog companion with you during your adventures. The dog shown in the trailer does appear to be a companion to the main character, although hopefully Bethesda saw the most recent dog companion video games and realized that it doesn’t quite work out the way it is supposed to in the end.

The game takes place in Boston. Probably greater Boston and sometimes venturing into the downtown Boston, your character will be able to experience Massachusetts the way most of the world sees it, a post apocalyptic wasteland. The trailer showed you parts of Fenway Park and parts of the remnants of Boston but we are excited to fully explore the city.

Your character will be from Vault 111. Briefly shown in the trailer and not really explained yet, Vault 111 will be the host vault for this exploration.

Ron Perlman is back! Yes, that Ron Perlman. “War…War Never Changes.”

So that is what we know so far. It is worth noting that this was just an announcement teaser so stay tuned for our E3 coverage!

Fallout 4 will release on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
