Destructoid reports that in early December EA Canada’s Community Manager, Alain Quinto, tweeted about the company working on a new IP for the Nintendo Wii; with the title being revealed sometime in January. Close sources are stating the game will be football game, and it won’t be a new Madden entry.
Instead it will be titled NFL Trainer and will allow gamers to participate in football-based exercises and workouts. Players will learn hot to throw the pigskin, while gaining professional advice on how to throw accurate passes. Plus, there’s the rumor of an attached peripheral being bundled with the game.
Remember that rumored football peripheral by CTA Digital at the beginning of the year? This will be an interesting development. Look forward to EA’s announcement…our bet…CES!
