Jeff Sneider went on his personal Twitter account to reveal a secret concerning Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse. Ben Hardy will be joining the team as Warren Worthington III aka Angel. In comics, Angel was a major addition to the X-Men team until being brainwashed by the villain Apocalypse. Whether or not his transformation into Archangel will play out in the upcoming film remains unknown at the moment.
Latino-Review provided further details of cast and production. Filming begins April 28th in Montreal, Canada, and will feature cameos from veteran X-Men (Halle Berry as Storm, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Sir Ian Mckellan as Magneto and Channing Tatum as Gambit). Aside from the beloved Angel, we’ll see Oscar Isaac as the villain Apocalypse and Lana Condor as Jubilee. The remaining cast goes as follows: Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), and Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler). X-Men: Apocalypse will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
