BBD’s first-gen Beatbox was a ginormous sound blaster capable of blowing out the windows in your car. Take a look at the company’s latest boombox: the Beats By Dre Beatbox Portable. That’s right, portable. The wireless speaker system is a smaller version of the original i-Dock, which features Bluetooth capability, remote controller, 3.5mm input jack, and 5.25-inch woofer. BBD promises users up to 15 hours of use on six D-cell batteries. It also bears two carry handles and comes in two colors (White and Black). Don’t expect this baby to come cheap (like all BBD headphones), as it carries a price tag of $400. Chip Chick reports the Beatbox Portable will be exclusively available at AT&T retail locations starting March 11th. Sounds pretty suspect, but we’ll verify it once we receive more info.
