There is a chance that Ben Affleck’s Batman could be seen in two DC movies in the same year. That year is next year, when Warner Bros. and DC Comics will debut the highly anticipated Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will pit the Caped Crusader against the Man of Steel. And according to Forbes, the Caped Crusader could have a cameo in David Ayer’s star-studded Comic Book supervillain venture Suicide Squad. There is a chance that this possible cameo could lead to something bigger for Ben Affleck and Batman’s role in this new DC Cinematic Universe.
What I’ve heard is that he figures into a particular scene regarding the Joker, and from the sounds of it the scene would likely be near the end of the movie and might give us hints about a future solo Batman film.
It makes sense. Superman already had his solo outing, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Shazam, Aquaman. Cyborg and Green Lantern are all getting their own movies, in addition to the two Justice League movies, so maybe a Batman film could be squeezed into DC’s lineup down the road.
