While PS3 Slim sales are skyrocketing, Sony’s remodeled PSP hasn’t been putting up big numbers since its release earlier this month. Over in Australia the portable handheld moved a horrendous 1,000 units its opening week. Sony Computer Entertainment Director Michael Ephraim speaks on the issue saying, “Clearly we haven’t done massive numbers, but it’s not something that we’re concerned about… because there are still some issues that we need to work through.” Retailers like EB Games refuse to stock the system, which could be a major role in the lack of sales, but the PSP has been a failure since it launched years ago. It’s really no surprise.
