Apple Store App

Those who own an iOS-powered device have a special treat waiting for them in the App Store manana. The Apple Store App will be available for download and is set to offer two new self-service features that will surely make shopping at the Cupertino Clan’s major outlet a breeze this holiday season: in-store pickup and self-checkout. That’s right. iDevice owners can now skip the overcrowded lines by purchasing products online and picking them up in-store, or scan items using the camera on your iOS device and purchase items via self-checkout while at a retail chain.

Here’s a quick detailed breakdown on orders placed through the app:

• Orders on in-store products will be available for pickup 12 minutes after a purchase is complete. From there, buyers cam skip lines, sign for their purchase, and walk away a happy shopper.
• If an item or custom-figured product in unavailable, customers will be given a pick-up date after completing the purchase, to which they will be alerted via push notification.
• Customers who purchase items through the mobile app will be given priority.
• Returns on items purchased through the app can be returned to any local Apple Store.

We advise you download it, especially if you plan on picking up a few Apple products this shopping season. Other details are expected to leak within the next few hours, as the Apple Store App is set to launch at midnight. We’ll keep you posted on the latest updates.
