If by some odd stretch you missed it, perhaps by living under a rock or on Mars, Apple had a big event this week. A lot of expected announcements, some surprises, and tons of excitement. Here’s a quick recap of what you missed; iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, a new iPad, and a big update to Apple TV.

The next iteration of the venerable iPhone line will come with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The new phones will feature improved cameras, new “3D touch” technology for improved gesture capabilities, should fall close to the last generation of smartphones. Preorders will be available this weekend, with shipments expected September 25th.

The iPad Pro will be a 12.9 inch tablet featuring a 10 hour battery life, and will be almost 2x faster than previous editions. As if the increased size isn’t enough to grab attention, the new device will also sport an optional keyboard and stylus dubbed “Pencil”. Designed to be as potent as a desktop, Microsoft rival Adobe Systems helped with the development.

Not satisfied with those announcements alone, Apple also dropped an update to Apple TV, with tvOS, bringing Siri to help with your living room search needs. Expect finding specific movies or episodes from your personal library or streaming devices to become so much easier.
