The Internet has built an infatuation with the cybercriminal organization known as Anonymous, who have been held accountable for some of the biggest hack jobs over the past several years. On the hit list: Bank of America, Sony, Google, and now, the government. Ballsy ones aren’t they?

The FBI claimed Anonymous intercepted a “cybercrime conference call between its agents and law enforcement officials overseas,” and posted the 16-minute call on YouTube Friday morning. In Anonymous fashion, the group teased the message on their Twitter page stating the following: “The FBI might be curious how we’re able to continuously read their internal comms for some time now.” Adding more fuel to the fire, Anonymous also leaked an email with the time and password of the call, indicating a possible breach via dial-in instead of more extreme hacking measures.

Divulged between their investigators and Scotland Yard associates were the highly sensitive tactics and intention of proceeding against two British suspects (Ryan Cleary and Jake Davis) linked as members of Anonymous, who are set to appear in court. The move to make further arrests was also brought up.

“I’m not sure if we’re the only two on here right now,” says an American agent named Bruce in the audio clip. A Scotland Yard counterpart responded with “Don’t say anything too bad, I’m on here with Matt,” as Anonymous members chuckle in the background.

The FBI stated the following: “The information was intended for law enforcement officers only and was illegally obtained. A criminal investigation on Anonymous is under way to identify and hold accountable those responsible.” A spokesperson for Scotland Yard claimed the agency was aware of the hack saying, “no operational risks have been identified.”

If you haven’t figured it out yet, the FBI is investigating the matter. You can view Anonymous work below.
