Hyundai makes an addition to its Blue Drive line-up. The company introduced its i-flow concept hybrid at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The i-flow features an aerodynamic build made of lightweight materials, solar panels, and innovative designs such as an adaptive front spoiler and side rocker blades. Hyundai Motor Company’s first diesel-electric hybrid uses a 1.7-litre two-stage turbocharged engine, a six-speed, dual-clutch transmission, Hyundai’s Lithium Ion-Polymer battery technology and a large touch-screen in the cabin that also recognizes gestures. This model uses 21KW LiPoly electrical storage batteries, which are coupled with the company’s Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Technology (FCEV).
