Final Death: World of Darkness (PC)
To most people, the cancellation of an MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) may not seem like the biggest of deals. But it’s the simple fact of where this game comes from that creates the annoyance of it being revoked so suddenly. CCP Games, a company best known for the MMO EVE, had been rumored to be adapting the RPG world of the White Wolf table top game into the MMO format, which was really exciting and a nice fresh change considering the style of the game. Using a mixture of the supernatural creatures and concepts from White Wolf and a dark urban setting, it created a new style of fantasy MMO that while it has been done before never felt old or already done. Sadly, due to loss of staff, and just regrettable incompletion, World of Darkness might never come to pass.
