Vin Diesel had to do something to get his career back in the fast lane. So it was a no-brainer for him to force Universal Studios into bringing back the old gang for another pointless Fast and Furious sequel. The Diesel-Miester returns to LA to avenge a loved one’s death and finds himself joining forces with agent Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), again, to bring down the baddies. As terrible as this film is, there’s not denying the franchise’s cult-following, so rip open your Netflix copy already.
This is absolutely one of the most disturbing and off-the-wall films ever. Harvey Keitel plays a cop, thief, gambler and murderer, who investigates the murder of a nun in a city where sin lurks at every street corner. His self-destructiveness begins to eat at his conscious and life begins to spiral for the out of whack detective. Hands down one of the more underrated “gangster” flicks.
