Resident Evil Revelations 2

New details for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 have surfaced in the November issue of GameMaster magazine, specifically pertaining to the game’s characters. Looks like Claire Redfield will play the lead in the sequel and be followed along by a new supporting character in the form of Moira, who is the daughter of Barry Burton.

Claire’s role in the game, unlike her other appearances, will be more combat centric with Moira playing more of the sidekick. The location will also change as it is said to consist of a detention center on an abandoned island. The story is said to take place between Resident Evil 5 and 6. Rounding out the details is the reveal of a new type of enemy called an ‘Afflicted,’ which is claimed to be different from the game’s mainstream zombies. Revelations 2 will also run in smooth 1080p and at 60fps on all systems. The game is set to release in early 2015 on all current-gen systems and PC.
