Sneaker fiends might remember Allen Iverson sporting his second-signature Reebok Answer DMX 10 sneakers on the basketball court back in 1997. Seeing how the company’s recent retro releases have taken off as of late, the decision’s been made to re-release the Answer’s classic kicks on May 16, which coincides with its 16-year anniversary.
According to Reebok, these was the first basketball sneaker model to incorporate DMX 10 moving air technology, but everyone remembers the footwear for its innovative lace system and now iconic I3 logo. Our fondest memories were from Iverson breaking ankles on the court with them on.
The black/gold Answer DMX 10 hits retailers on May 24th for $150 and will be accompanied with a special edition hook-up snapback and tee-shirt. Some of you might want to start courting a Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champs, City Gear, or DTLR for your size. Then again, you can play the digital route and order them on Reebok.com. The choice is yours.
