No lie. We actually forget that there was a Poltergeist remake is the works. Mainly because updates on the film were practically nonexistent since being put into production. Nevertheless, the highly anticipated horror film is expected in theaters this summer and here is the first official look at the film. Spoiler alert: It actually looks pretty frightening.
Sami Rami helped produce the remake, which shows signs of his signature scare factor. But that is neither here or there. The film hits theaters on July 24th. It will be interesting to see how how the movie performs when stacked up against some of the other summer blockbusters due out that season.
