Fast-Paced Combat at its Finest
Team Ninja’s always done a great job delivering high-octane action and insane boss battles. And Razor’s Edge is all about that. Enemies fly out from all over the screen in swarms to the point where you’ll receive an ass whopping and have several others shooting at you from a distance. The baddies are more diverse this time around, which gives the game a fresh feel. Cut scenes run smoothly, as well as the live action visuals. There was no lag was present throughout our run through, too.
Playable Characters
Welcome, female ninjas. Joining the playable roster are three more characters: Ayane, Momiji, and Kasumi. The first two chapters have been combined into the history of the game, while the other two will only be playable through the new Ninja Tests and Challenges section. If you look at the new levels featuring Ayane, she fits in quite well. Momiji is a little slower to work with, but her weapons make up for it as they provide a much larger attack range perfect for hitting multiple enemies at once. Kasumi has a similar speed to Ayane, along with many air strikes and teleports. Each one has their own different weapons and execution, therefore adding to the game’s replay value.
