Verizon’s just sent out private invites for its big announcement on Tuesday, which will consist of the carrier showing off the latest Droid phone in its popular Android flagship series. The biggest rumor floating around the Net at the moment revolves around Motorola unveiling an updated version of the Droid RAZR Maxx, or better yet, the new Droid ULTRA. No specs or specific launch dates have been ousted as of yet, but Twitter user @slrleaks has just posted this image of what is presumed to be the handset. As you can see, it looks pretty similar to the Maxx, minus the red stripe in the middle.
Hearsay has the ULTRA coming in black, white, and red, with the new Maxx only fitted in black. Something tells us we’ll find out the real deal Monday. Stay tuned!
