So many big-named stars of the 80s and 90s have been rumored for the upcoming Expendables sequel and probably none are crazier than this one. Well, maybe Steven Segal, but that’s beside the point. ShowBiz 411 reports Lethal Weapon legend Mel Gibson will appear in The Expendables 3 as the primary baddie, at least according to a source that reached out to the publication. No confirmation has been made as of yet, but we’re keeping a stern eye on Sylverster Stallone’s Twitter page.
Just days ago, Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage, Wesley Snipes, and Milla Jovovich were confirmed as the latest signees. Sly might have to make this a three-hour shootout with all that star power. The Expendables 3 is due out in theaters Summer 2013.
