You all heard the hearsay on the prematurely rumored iPhone 5S. While it makes sense for Apple to release such a follow-up device (look at its lineage of previous iPhone releases), no official confirmation has been made on the successor to the last-gen smartphone. But according to these recent images grabbed by MacRumors, the iPhone 5 could very well be in production and this is what it could look like: inside and out.
Judging from the exterior, the iPhone 5S should carry the same design pedigree as the iPhone 5, though the rear shell looks to include a larger LED flash. Keep in mind the rumors of a higher-res camera and improved light modes have been floating around the Net as well. The interior is where upgrades seem to come in effect, with a bigger battery boasting 5.92 watt-hours of energy being integrated into the phone, which is clearly bigger than previous 5.45 watt-hours found on the iPhone 5. If all holds true, you might want to save that upgrade till the holiday season.
