Fans of Bungie’s sci-fi odyssey who can’t get enough of the Crota’s End raid have something to look forward to next Wednesday. The studio has confirmed it will release a hard mode as part of a Destiny update. Mark your calendar as it is set to go live January 21, at 10 AM Pacific Time. Bungie goes on to share this with its fan base:
“Prepare to take better care of your teammates. You’ll have fewer options for healing yourself, and each other,” it adds. The first Fireteam to beat the final boss may even get “swag from the Bungie Store. We’ll be watching.”
The hard mode raid will deliver what Bungie promises to be some of the game’s most coveted awards, which are reserved to those who can kill Crota in the new mode. In addition, this mode is the only way to obtain Crux of Crota, a final piece needed to uprade the Eidolon Ally to it’s “full, Necrochasmic glory.” Good luck with that.
