THE story Will Take Place Right After MK9 And Span 25 Years
On a simpler note, Boon announced this campaign will take place right after the last iteration and span across a quarter of a century. Little is know about the plot or the timeline. However, we can speculate that this means the characters will be aged during the span of the story and can expect to see the departure of some loved characters in the series. Again, this is all speculation, but the timeline does suggest a lot about how they want the story to play out for the future. In addition, this does pave the way for other characters to be revealed and join new favorites like Cassie Cage.
