A 12-inch Slate with Intel Power
In order to push mobile productivity, Microsoft increased the screen real estate to 12 inches with 2160×1440-pixel resolution. Users will get 16 percent more visuals than the actual 13-inch Macbook Air screen. Building on its partnership with Intel, the Surface Pro 3 features the latest Core i7 under the hood. Microsoft designed the device without a fan to allow up to 30 percent more performance efficiency and eliminate ambient noise normally emitted from a laptop/tablet.
