Del Toro Says ‘Justice League Dark’ Part of WB’s Massive DC Rollout

A year after Guillermo Del Toro claimed he was working on a Justice League Dark movie for Warner Bros, the critically acclaimed filmmaker has provide some extra deets on the title, which is in the initial stages of development. Del Toro spoke with Italian film site Cinefilos and stated the film will connect with the DC Universe, while mentioning the studio has big plans for a massive DC rollout.

He responded with the following: “We’re still on it, and writing. And hopefully it will happen. But there’s no developments that are new. It’s still at Warner Bros. They are making plans for the entire DC Universe. All the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is Justice League Dark. They’re planning on TV, movies, all the media, so we have to fit within that plan.”
