The Biggest Disappointments of E3 2014

Microsoft’s Uneventful Press Conference

There were plenty of good games previewed during Microsoft’s presser, but it was definitely lacking any real surprises. Sure, it was absolutely cool to get in-depth previews of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, and Forza Horizon 2. Truth be told, we already knew those games were going to be awesome before the show even started. Microsoft could have really brought its conference to the next level if they devoted a little more time to blowing us away with awesome games we didn’t know everything about going in to the show. Phantom Dust, anyone? Sorry, but the announcement of the next Tomb Raider title or Dead Rising 3 DLC lacked the same jaw-dropping appeal when compared to the reveals of Uncharted 4 and the new Zelda game.
