With two different sizes of Apple’s next-gen smartphone available on the market, some consumers tend to be leaning more towards one rather than the other. In this case, looks like mobilephiles are on the hunt for the phablet-esque iPhone 6 Plus instead of its smaller counterpart in the iPhone 6.
DigiTimes reports Apple is experiencing supply issues, as the demand for its larger smartphone has exceeded all expectations. With that being said, the company is supposedly asking manufacturers to start moving forward with additional production on the iPhone 6 plus, while falling back a little on the iPhone 6. Don’t panic Apple fanboys, it’s just a minor shift in focus for the company.
No surprise on the move honestly, as Apple managed to pull the same move last year with the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, boosting production on the former as it headed into the holidays. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have reportedly sold over 10 million units during its launch weekend.
