The wait for Microsoft to announce the official release date of the Xbox One is finally over, as the gaming giant states it will launch its next-gen console just a week after Sony unleashes the PS4 onto retailers. The date: November 25th. Available at $500, the Xbox One will feature an HDMI pass-through to use the device as a cable box, Blu-ray player, 500GB of storage, game DVR for recording titles, and is rumored to carry a 1.6GHz to 1.7GHz CPU under the hood. Over 23 titles are set to be available on launch day: including games such as Dead Rising 3, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Forza Motorsport 5, and Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. Hope you got your RSVP ready, gentlemen.
