We’ve all been anticipating an Epic Mickey sequel for quite some time. Don’t front, you have. And though there were rumblings of Disney’s mascot making a return on the Wii (or Wii U) in the next year or so, the latest bit of news comes as a surprise. According to a tweet featured on Nintendo Magazine France’s Twitter page, not only has the sequel been titled, but we’ll get a glimpse of it next week on the Nintendo 3DS. The translation has the game dubbed as Epic Mickey 2: Power of Illusion 3DS and hints at “classique” 2D gameplay, but no other details have been divulged as of yet. Could it be connected to the Genesis Illusion titles (Castle of Illusion, in particular)? Doubtful. But hey, who knows. Nintendo is beginning to strengthen its 3DS lineup.
