Hitman (PS4/Xbox One)
For no real reason givem, this originally planned continuation of the highly praised Hitman series was canned for both next-gen systems. The concept was that the player would control a now globetrotting Agent 47, at the height of his career, along with Diana Burnwood and the rest of ICA. A return of the previous contract system would have allowed players to once more build and design their own challenges within a level. With an attempt at creating a sandbox-like universe, it would have allowed players to examine and search the world to near limitless potential. Quite promising on paper, guess the team encountered numerous difficulties that pushed the follow-up right off the production line.
