6. Google Glassholes Targeted in Attacks
When Google first announced Google Glass, their new wearable eyeglass technology, people were excited. The idea seemed cool and cyborg-esque. But when the technology actually became a reality, a more negative sentiment began to surface. This negativity has been reflected in physical attacks on Google Glassholes. Many attackers fear the technology, claiming its ability to take incognito photos is invasive. Some simply protest the impact of technology on daily life. Of course, these circumstances shouldn’t warrant violence, but the attacks do raise concerns about the future of Google Glass.
