A global phenomenon, the Flappy Bird app experienced a major boom in the beginning of this year, followed by its abrupt and utter removal from all app stores. Some say that the fall of Flappy Bird is due to its illicit usage of “Mario’s green pipes.” The creator of the app claims that the game simply became too addicting.
