Mario Kart 8 gamers have enjoyed some sweet DLC over the past several months, along with what is arguably the best game in the franchise. C’mon, even you know it’s that sweet. Well, a new update coming in the form of the 200cc class on April 23rd: free.
The new update will apparently be included in a premium DLC bundle for the upcoming Animal Crossing x Mario Kart 8 DLC pack. Also included will be a number of Mii racing suits such as Sonic, Mega Man, and Pac-Man, which can be unlocked through pairing the corresponding Amiibo figure on the gamepad. With the digital figures selling like hot cakes, you’re best bet is to download the upcoming pack.
Expect ever faster, chaotic racing moving forward. Take a look at the latest gameplay footage showcasing a lap around the Piranha Plant Pipeway in 200cc compared to 150cc. Look up.
